1. AVAILABLE DELIVERY METHODS

Depending on the destination, parcel size and the options displayed at checkout, orders may be delivered using:

• FOXPOST or Packeta parcel lockers and collection points;
• FOXPOST or Packeta home delivery;
• personal collection from the Budachrome store at 1111 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 42., Hungary.

Only the delivery methods available for the particular address and order are displayed at checkout. The carrier selected at checkout performs delivery under its own operational terms.

2. DELIVERY COUNTRIES, FEES AND ESTIMATED TIMES

The available destination countries, delivery methods, delivery fee and estimated delivery period are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. They begin after the order is ready for dispatch and do not include the time required to perform film development, scanning or another laboratory service.

Delivery times may be affected by weekends, public holidays, peak periods, customs procedures, carrier capacity, weather, traffic, technical failures and other circumstances outside Budachrome’s reasonable control.

3. ORDER PREPARATION

Physical products are normally prepared after successful payment and order acceptance. The preparation time may vary depending on stock availability, the type of product and the volume of orders.

Laboratory orders are dispatched only after the requested development, scanning and related work has been completed. Any turnaround time displayed on a product or service page is an estimate unless Budachrome expressly confirms a fixed deadline in writing.

If one order contains products or services with different preparation times, Budachrome may send the order together when all items are ready or split the delivery where appropriate. Any additional charge for a split delivery will be communicated in advance.

4. SHIPPING CONFIRMATION AND TRACKING

Where tracking is provided by the carrier, a tracking number or tracking link is sent to the email address or telephone number supplied with the order. Tracking information may take time to become active after the parcel is handed to the carrier.

The customer is responsible for monitoring carrier notifications and collecting a parcel from a locker or collection point within the carrier’s collection period.

5. CORRECT ADDRESS AND CONTACT INFORMATION

Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address, email address and telephone number. Before submitting the order, the checkout allows the customer to review and correct entered information.

Budachrome is not responsible for delay, failed delivery or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer. If a parcel is returned because it was not collected, delivery was refused, or the supplied details were incorrect, Budachrome may charge the reasonable cost of redelivery before sending it again, unless the failed delivery is attributable to Budachrome or the carrier.

Contact us as soon as possible if an address needs to be corrected. An address cannot always be changed after the parcel has been handed to the carrier.

6. PERSONAL COLLECTION

Personal collection is available only after Budachrome has confirmed that the order is ready.

Collection address:
Budachrome
1111 Budapest, Bartók Béla út 42.
Hungary

Please bring the order confirmation or order number and, where reasonably necessary, proof of identity or authorisation. Opening hours and any collection instructions are shown on the website or in the ready-for-collection notification.

An online order remains a distance contract even if the customer chooses personal collection. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights are therefore not removed solely because the order is collected in person.

7. FILMS AND MATERIALS SENT TO BUDACHROME BY THE CUSTOMER

If you send undeveloped film, negatives or other material to Budachrome, you are responsible for secure packaging and for choosing an appropriate delivery service. We recommend protective, moisture-resistant packaging and a trackable shipping method.

Budachrome is responsible for the submitted material only after it has been physically received by us. Budachrome is not responsible for loss or damage occurring before receipt or while the material is in the custody of a carrier selected by the customer, without prejudice to any rights the customer may have against that carrier.

Do not place irreplaceable documents, cash or unrelated objects in a film parcel.

8. TRANSFER OF RISK

For a consumer order, the risk of loss or damage to goods passes to the consumer when the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.

If the consumer appoints a carrier that was not offered by Budachrome, risk may pass when the goods are handed to that carrier, as provided by applicable law.

For business customers, risk passes as agreed in the relevant contract or, in the absence of a separate agreement, when the goods are handed to the carrier.

9. DAMAGED, MISSING OR INCORRECT PARCELS

If a parcel arrives visibly damaged, please record the condition with the carrier where possible, retain the packaging and take photographs before opening or disposing of it.

Contact contact@budachrome.com as soon as reasonably possible and provide the order number, tracking number and relevant photographs. Prompt notice helps us investigate the shipment but does not limit statutory consumer rights.

If tracking shows delivery but the parcel cannot be located, check the delivery address, household members, neighbours, building reception and the carrier’s delivery information, then contact us and the carrier.

10. INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY AND CUSTOMS

Where delivery outside Hungary is offered, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the products may lawfully be imported into the destination country.

For deliveries outside the European Union, the destination country may impose customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees or other charges. Unless expressly stated at checkout, these charges are not included in the purchase or shipping price and are borne by the recipient.

Customs procedures may delay delivery. Budachrome cannot control or guarantee customs-processing times.

11. DIGITAL SCANS AND PHYSICAL NEGATIVES

Digital scan files are normally delivered separately from physical shipping. WeTransfer download links remain available for 60 days, and Budachrome stores the files on its own server for 90 days.

Budachrome guarantees retention of physical negatives for 90 days from the notification that the completed order is ready. After that period, continued storage is not guaranteed and the negatives may be securely destroyed unless a different arrangement was agreed in advance.

Customers must download their scans and collect or arrange delivery of their negatives within the applicable retention periods.

12. DELAYS AND FORCE MAJEURE

Budachrome will make reasonable efforts to prepare and dispatch orders without undue delay. We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, severe weather, strikes, governmental measures, customs restrictions, power or network failures, shortage of materials, laboratory-equipment failure or other force-majeure events.

Mandatory consumer rights and Budachrome’s obligation to inform the customer about a material delay remain unaffected.
