WHAT IS YOUR CURRENT TURNAROUND TIME?
Quality first. Speed second.
OUR CURRENT STANDARD TURNAROUND TIME IS 3–5 WORKING DAYS. COMPLEX ORDERS, PUSH PROCESSING AND HIGH-VOLUME PERIODS MAY TAKE LONGER.
We do our best to get your film through the lab as quickly as possible. If your order is still within the stated turnaround window, please give it a little time — your scans are on the way.
What formats do you develop and scan?
WE PROCESS AND SCAN 35 MM (135), INCLUDING HALF-FRAME AND FULL-FRAME, AS WELL AS 120, 220 AND 4 × 5 SHEET FILM.
What scan options do you offer?
We offer two resolutions:
4K – longer edge 4096px 240dpi ~ 22mp
8K – longer edge 7680px 240dpi ~ 45mp
How do I get my scans?
. We’ll send you a download link by email or text once your order is ready.
Do you do prints?
WE OFFER PRINTS FROM 10 × 15 CM TO 20 × 30 CM, AS WELL AS HIGH-QUALITY FINE-ART PIGMENT PRINTS.
How long do you keep negatives?
We keep negatives for 3 months.
If you can’t come back to the store, we can mail them to you.
To save on shipping, you can also add other items to the order — film, accessories, or cameras.
How long do you keep scan files?
SCAN FILES ARE STORED FOR 90 DAYS. DOWNLOAD LINKS REMAIN ACTIVE FOR 60 DAYS. WE RECOMMEND DOWNLOADING AND BACKING UP YOUR FILES AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
We recommend downloading them as soon as you receive them. If you lose them, get in touch — we may still be able to rescan your negatives.
Can I get scans with borders?
Yes. We can scan with borders.
Do you scan half frame?
YES. HALF-FRAME SCANNING IS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADDITIONAL FEE. EACH FRAME IS SCANNED AS AN INDIVIDUAL HIGH-RESOLUTION IMAGE.
Do you process reversal film?
YES, WE DO.
Do you process Super 8 / 16mm?
AVAILABILITY MAY VARY. PLEASE CONTACT US TO DISCUSS SUPER 8 AND 16 MM PROCESSING.
Can I get TIFF scans?
Yes. TIFF scans are available for no extra charge!
Can I get RAW negative scans?
YES. IF YOU PREFER TO CONVERT YOUR IMAGES YOURSELF USING NEGATIVE LAB PRO OR SIMILAR SOFTWARE, WE CAN PROVIDE UNCONVERTED NEGATIVE SCANS AT A REDUCED PRICE.
Can you scan my old negatives?
Yes. We can scan your old negatives in high resolution.
What if my roll came back blank?
That happens sometimes. If a roll comes back blank, we’ll let you know. If you’re unsure what went wrong, bring in the camera and we’ll take a look.
WE CANNOT REFUND THE PROCESSING FEE, BUT WE WILL CREDIT THE UNUSED SCANNING PORTION TOWARDS YOUR NEXT ORDER.
Do you handle sensitive content? Would you sign an NDA?
YOUR IMAGES ARE NOT USED FOR MARKETING OR SHARED WITH UNAUTHORISED THIRD PARTIES. NECESSARY TECHNICAL PROCESSING IS CARRIED OUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
WE ALSO OFFER BULK PROCESSING SERVICES UNDER A SIGNED NDA.
